staying busy for the kingdom

WOW…..these last couple of days have been amazing.  Wednesday, I started off by going to Dallas to speak at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.  I was part of the student ministry a few months ago and it was so awesome to be back with them and share the Word.  I really miss hanging out with them, they were a fabulous bunch of students to hang out with.  Friday night I had to opportunity to speak at First United Methodist in Cedar Hill for their “5th Quarter”.  It was a time well spent with youth and digging in the Word.  God moved in a great way, touching and restoring hearts of some of the youth.  Saturday night I drove back home to Houston in the midst of a thunderstorm.  I praise God for his protection on me.  I was literally driving on the highway at 40 mph and saw a few accidents.  I am bless with all the traveling I have done, so far God has watched over me and hope He continues too.  Sunday night I hung out with one of my favorite bands…Shane and Shane and help run sound for them.  They are a bunch of cool guys to be around who love the Lord.  Today I started a new job working on 18 wheelers.  Who would of thought, but it’s a man job and I love to get dirty.  God has opened up this opportunity to help keep the ministry going.  It might take me out of traveling for a few months, but it was something that was needed to be done.  Please continue to pray for opportunities that are springing up.  It is so worthy to serve the Lord and I want to be totally obedient to God’s direction for my journey in Him.  Please continue to pray for opportunities and for His Glory to be made known.

In Him,

Tim

Please Pray for a Vehicle for the Ministry

Jesus said, “ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find.”  There are other passages that are similar as well.  I want to be very careful here.  Doesn’t mean, ask for a fancy car, house, or money, etc, but to ask what you need.  God has challenge me to be a faith base ministry, seeking the Lord for everything.  I gave up my job a few years ago so I could devote myself to needs of the youth around us.  My ministry consist of speking at youth retreats, revivals, camps, sharing the only true hope of Jesus Christ.  I also spend time discipleling young leaders for the future.  You can look around the web-site to get more information about the ministry.  There is a need for a vehicle to help with the ministry.  Please pray that God would provide one for me to keep the ministry going.  Please pray how God might use you, maybe you can give money, maybe you have an extra car in your garage that you are not using.  Please pray how you can help.

For His Glory,

Living for the Kingdom

Blessings to everyone!!!!  Everyday I am amazed that God has allowed me to be apart of His Kingdom.  I count if all joy to live my life for the sake of the Kingdom.  It it always easy, not always.  There are days that I wonder if I am doing the right thing.  Some times God will lead to do something that doesnt make sense.  We have to go through trials to gain faith and trust in the Lord.  Jesus is worth giving my life for the Kingdom.  That has been my prayer to God that he would transform my life, my thinking and the way I live for the sake of the poor and lost around me.  This means giving up my dreams and my desires for the sake of the Kingdom.  This is nothing new thoughm this is the invitation Jesus gives to those who want to follow HIM.  Give up everything, and then follow HIM.  There are times where I don’t understand things in my life, but getting to draw closer and nearer to the LORD is the beauty facing trials and challenges.  What are you living for, and most of all WHO are you living for.  God wants to do a great work through you.

Please continue to pray for the ministry.  It has been a little slow, so pray for opportunities to open up.  Pray for new directions as well.

For the Kingdom,

Tim

Lake Tomahawk

What can I say about this weekend.  It is amazing to see God touch lives of young people.  Nothing that I can do or any body can…ONLY GOD can do a work of giving life to a person.  Youth desiring to follow Jesus at no cost is a beautiful thing to see and be apart of.  God is preparing these youth to rise up and live a Radical life for Jesus.  I am honored to do what I do, Preach the Word of God.  Pray for our churches to have a hunger to reach young people for Jesus, especially those who are homeless, on drugs, hopeless, the outcast.  That is true love.

Continue to pray for the Ministry that God would continue to provide finacially and open opportunities to share Christ to others.  Prayer is the key for the work of the Lord.  I beg you to join me in prayer to see God move in a powerful way.

blessings,

Tim
