Easter Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating our Saviors death and resurrection on Sunday.  My prayer is that you would desire to serve HIM because of what HE has done for you.  It was a busy weekend for me.  I was out with Salvador doing two shows, one in Waco and in Houston.  We were in Waco for Congreso, a Hispanic event focusing on youth and young adults.  There were about 7,000 students which made the concert a blast.  Sunday,  I was at the Spanish service of Lakewood in Houston.  Jaci shared the stage with Salvador and we were special guest of Luis Palau.  Last night, Monday, I was at DBU enjoying a concert by Jeff Johnson and band.  Always a pleasure seeing him sing.  Hope all is well with each and everyone of you.  Remember, Christ is alive, so live for HIM.

Partnering with Tim Ramos Ministries

Hope everyone is doing great.  I cannot tell you how honored and privilege to be serving the Lord.  God as always is changing lives for His Glory.  I want to challenge each one of you to partner with me in this ministry.  1.)  I asked that you would join me through prayer, that you would commit to praying at least one day a week for God to open up opportunities to serve and reach the lost.  Pray that God would provide every financial need to meet the needs of the ministry.  2.)  Ask God how you can contribute financially to this ministry?  Tim Ramos Ministries is a faith base ministry, so we function base on gifts from people all around.  We never charge to go minister at a church event.  We only ask for a love offering if available.  There are many expensive needs that exist with a ministry like this.  If you feel led to give a one time gift or commit to a monthly gift for a year, please click on the “DONATE” page.  Tim Ramos Ministries is partnered with Hillcrest Baptist Church of Cedar Hill, TX, so all donations are tax deductible .  I thank you in advance for what you are going to do for God’s Kingdom.  If there is any way that I can minister at your church please do not hesitate to contact me.  Blessings to ALL.

For His Kingdom,

Crazy Love

Here is a book by Francis Chan that I recommend people to read.  It has helped change my view of life, especially as a follower of Christ.  Many people are upset because of the Health Care system and the economy.  As believers, why are we angry or scared when in reality we serve and belong to the God who created the universe.  He is my provider and my healer, I run to HIM first for everything.  In this book, it talks about how as Followers of Jesus Christ we should already be helping those around us.  One thing I have heard about people complaining about this health care system is that it is going to cost them more money.  “I am gonna have to pay more taxes”, people say.  That money is not yours in the first place, it belongs to God.  We are suppos to be helping the poor and needy around us,  especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.  The church in the New Testament according to the book of Acts, says that no one in the church was in need, because everyone gave and sold belongings to help the church.  Most Christians are self center when it comes to there money.  Its about them and what they have, before they even think about others.  It’s sad that God has to use the government to make us Christians help those in need.  Many will say it is there fault that they are in need and in poverty.  The fact is it is by God’s grace that you are not in need and in poverty so that you can glorify and praise God for that and in return desire to help those around you.  Again, I challenge you to read this book and of course the BIBLE so you can learn and follow Jesus Christ.

with a Crazy Love,

Tim

Reaching those around you for Christ

I know we talk and preach about evangelizing and doing missions all the time in our churches.  Yes, we should be preaching about it, but the epistle of James mentions, “don’t just be hearers of the Word, but be doers of the Word.”  I believe many of us church goers do exactly that.  We hear the Word, but not do anything about it.  This past Sunday, our Youth Pastor Luke Allen preached to the church on how God has given each one of us who profess HIM as Lord and Savior the ministry of reconciliation.  God has given us to duty to reach those around you for Christ.  God did not give you a job just to go and earn money.  No, he gave you a job so you can build relationships with your coworkers so you can share Christ with them.  God did not allow your son or daughter to play sports on a team so they can make it professionally.  No, He allowed your kids to play sports so you can build relationships with the other moms and dads so you can share Christ with them.  God didn’t just send you to college to get an education.  No, He sent you so you can build relationships with your roommates, classmates, and professors so you can lead them to Christ.  If we think about it, everything that we are apart of is because God has allowed you to do so, with the purpose of us leading people to HIM.  Francis Chan has written a book called “Crazy Love”, which I recommend everyone to read, but He gets to the point of that the world is tired of the church just talking about God, and they are ready the Church to live for Him.  His book is a challenge for all Christians to understand the God we serve and to live a radical life for Jesus.  We are to live a life that is worthy for our King and that means doing whatever it takes to share Christ with others.  We are to give up our lives for others so that they may hear about Christ and believe in Him as well.  Are you reaching those around you?

George Muller…man of Faith and Miracles

A couple of days ago I picked up a copy of George Muller…Man of Faith and Miracles.  Can I tell you how uplifting it has been reading about George Muller.  People new him because of his Faith in God.  Muller was able to start an orphanage and help impact over 2,500 orphans through his ministry.  A Godly men of faith and prayer, Muller depended on God to provide every single meal, item needed for the orphanage.  Some of the stories are amazing to read about, how as soon as they finished praying, their need was met.  Then at the age of 70, instead of retireing, he started his travel as an itenerary evangelist.  For the next 2o years he traveled all across the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is a challenge for me as I desire the work of the Lord, that I would have the Faith to depend on God for every single need that I have.  For the last 29 years, God has provided abundantly for me and my family.  He has never left us or abandoned us.  I know God will continue to bless me to do his work.  LORD, give me faith to depend on you for every single need.

Faith without works is DEAD,

his servant,

Tim

JEHOVA-ELYON

Blessings to everyone.  Lately I have been studying some of the Old Testament names of God.  Jehova-Elyon which means “The Most High God” is a very powerful name to grasp.  Think about it, there is no other god who compares to the true living God.  As I think about what God has called me to do, and that is to teach his word, I am amazed that the Most High God would even use someone like me.  There are far better men out there, but the beauty is God longs for the heart, and that desire only comes from Him.  I look forward to see what God is going to do through me and this ministry.  I belong to the Most High God and so I know great and mighty things will take place.  I just want to challenge you to partner up with me through prayer that God, The Most High, would provide opportunities to minister to churches all across this world, reaching today’s generation.  Please pray specifically for 3 things: 1. For direction of ministry. 2.  For opportunities for me to minister at and for people to come to a true understanding of repentance and being saved.  3.  For all the financial support, that God would provide everything needed to minister to people.

Thank you for joining me in prayer.  Remember we belong to and serve JEHOVA-ELYON.

Grace and Peace,

Tim
