Prayer

Hope everyone is doing well.  I just want to invite you to take a few minutes from your day and pray for the ministry.  God is gonna do something big, I know.  I have been waiting patiently for a few years and I believe God is going to open up some huge doors.  So would you take time to pray that this ministry would be about reaching people for Jesus with the Gospel.  Thank you for being apart of this ministry.

Looking forward to great things,

Tim

New Year…..for the Glory of the LORD

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope this post find everyone doing well.  It is already 2011 and I am excited to do the work of the Lord, bringing people to the feet of Jesus.  I had the opportunity to bring in the new year with my family in Toledo, Ohio.  My family went to see some relatives in Toledao whom for me was the first time meeting them.  We also went to Chicago for two days and had the opportunity to visit The Moody Church.  It was also very cold in Chicago, the Windy City.  We also visited Detroit, Nashville and a few other cities.  My dad and I also took a tour of the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, it was cool to see a lot of history about football.

I am excited to see what God has in store for this year.  May my life be balance according the The Bible, that I would be Jesus to those around me for the sake of HIS GLORY.  Please pray that GOD would open up opportunities for the ministry.  God is tugging at my heart for certain areas and I just want to be obedient.

For His Glory,

Tim

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  I sure did, spent time with my family and ate tons of food.  It is always a blessing to be with family.  I hope and pray that you reached out to some one as well during Christmas.  The most important part is sharing Jesus with others.  I have been praying for a coworker of mine who is 23 years old and battleing cancer.  God has been allowing me to share the gospel with him and I hope one day he will respond to the Gospel.  On Christmas Eve I was able to deliver some food and gifts to his house to help out his Mom and brother.  Pray for him that God would touch his heart and draw him to Jesus.

2011 is just around the corner and I hope you take some time to reflect on this year to make 2011 more for the Gospel and the Kingdom.  I want to challenge you to think how you can give up of yourself for the sake of the Gospel so that those who haven’t hear may hear of the name of the one and only who can save lives and that is Jesus Christ.  Make 2011 not about you but about the glory of Jesus.  God has been faithful this year 2010 and I cannot wait the experience more of Jesus in 2011.

For HIS Glory,

TIm

Leaving a Legacy…..Grandma Lopez

This past Sunday night my dear Grandmother from my mom’s side of the family went home to be with her Heavenly Father.  Grandma was one of the strongest woman I have ever known.  She loved the Lord and served Him Faithfuly to the end.  Testemonies from those who new her all had one thing in common, “she loved Jesus”.  Some of my memories of grandma are going on mission trips with her.  I think we went on 5 to 6 trips together to the Rio Grand Valley and across to boarder to Carmargo, Cadillo and other small towns in Mexico.  Her last mission trip that she went on, she was probably 75 years old.  She loved going on trips to share the LOVE of Jesus.  She loved teaching arts and crafts and thats what she would do to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  My grandma was a warrior, a fighter, a giver, a lover and one of the most selfless person in the world.  I am greatful to have had a grandmother like her.  She will be missed by many but one day I will be able to see her again in Heaven.  I feel like Timothy from the Bible, being that my mom and grandmother have taught me the ways of the LORD.

I hope one day that I will leave a legacy to my kids, that they may Serve and Honor the LORD.

In HIm,

Already December!!!

Can you beleive it?  It is already December, wow this year has gone by so fast.  Well December means Christmas and for alot of us, that means buying lots of presents to please family and friends.  Many Christians celebrate Christmas and totally miss out on Jesus.  Jesus is Christmas, He is the reason why we can celebrate Christmas.  I want to challenge you to make this Christmas different, one that you and your family will remember for years to come.  Think about a way that you and your family can make a diference for someone else this year,  maybe it might going on a mission trip providing gifts for children or going to the needy and providing them a meal or clothes. You could also use some of the money that you would use to spend on gifts and donate to a ministry of some sort.  There are tons of opportunities to serve others.  The purpose is to make this Christmas not about you, but about JESUS.  People need to hear about Jesus and also see through his people that HE is worthy of our lives.  Make this Christmas an important one for others to see and know JESUS.  He is the REASON for Christmas.

Living Life In The Zone

Living Life In The Zone by Kyle Rote Jr. and Dr. Joe Pettigrew would be a great gift for a husband for the holidays.  This 40-day spiritual game plan for men is a very great study to do for men who are pursuing to be Godly.  Being a sports fan, I was able to relate very well with the examples given.  For those men who enjoy sports will enjoy this 40-day devotional book.   I really think this book is even a greater benefit for those men you are new in their walk with the Lord.  The topics covered are widely and all benefit each men.  From dealing with your personal life, to loving your wife and kids, as well as your friends and work, we all have room for improvement to be better in these areas.  Most important this book is filled with solid Biblical wisdom.  Each day brings a challenge to draw nearer to God.  Statistically, most churches lack the presence of Godly men.  This is a great way to challenge and encourage men to step up to the game and become the MVP in your home.  Over all I think this is a great devotional for all men to go through several times a year.  Live life by Living Life In The Zone.

Getting Older and Following Jesus

Last Saturday, the Lord blessed me with another year of life.  I am speechless to look back at the last 30 years and just see how GOD has been merciful to me.  God has allowed me to have a fruitful life in HIM.  As I desire to follow Jesus, sometimes it seems like your all alone.  Sometimes I feel like people just don’t get it when it comes to follow Jesus.  God has given me life so I can give my life to HIM to bring others to Christ for His glory.  I just want to continue seeking after Jesus, following him and being obedient, even if it means sacrificing what I have.  All that I have is HIS anyways.  I don’t want to be comfortable with my life, I want to live a crazy life for Jesus, where I have to point to the HOLY SPIRIT for everything that takes place in my life.  Again, I am blessed to have lived 30 wonderful years and I pray that many more years are to come for HIS GLORY.  Less of me and more of you Jesus.

following Jesus,

Getting Older

WOW…on November 13th Lord Willing, I will be turning 30 yrs old.  Time has surely flown by quickly.  I am amazed and bless to be where I am at today.  It is all by the GRACE of God, by the mercy of my Lord and Saviour.  God has allowed me to be apart of HIS Kingdom.  I cannot complain about my years the Lord has given.  I pray that God would continue shaping me and giving me faith to be obedient and faithful to the ministry He has given me.  May God allow me many more years for HIS glory.  One of the beauties of getting older is drawing closer to God, seeing Him guide and direct your life.  When I look at my past, I see the Hand of God over my life and through growing closer to HIM, I look forward to the years ahead.

Soli Deo Gloria..

staying busy for the kingdom

WOW…..these last couple of days have been amazing.  Wednesday, I started off by going to Dallas to speak at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.  I was part of the student ministry a few months ago and it was so awesome to be back with them and share the Word.  I really miss hanging out with them, they were a fabulous bunch of students to hang out with.  Friday night I had to opportunity to speak at First United Methodist in Cedar Hill for their “5th Quarter”.  It was a time well spent with youth and digging in the Word.  God moved in a great way, touching and restoring hearts of some of the youth.  Saturday night I drove back home to Houston in the midst of a thunderstorm.  I praise God for his protection on me.  I was literally driving on the highway at 40 mph and saw a few accidents.  I am bless with all the traveling I have done, so far God has watched over me and hope He continues too.  Sunday night I hung out with one of my favorite bands…Shane and Shane and help run sound for them.  They are a bunch of cool guys to be around who love the Lord.  Today I started a new job working on 18 wheelers.  Who would of thought, but it’s a man job and I love to get dirty.  God has opened up this opportunity to help keep the ministry going.  It might take me out of traveling for a few months, but it was something that was needed to be done.  Please continue to pray for opportunities that are springing up.  It is so worthy to serve the Lord and I want to be totally obedient to God’s direction for my journey in Him.  Please continue to pray for opportunities and for His Glory to be made known.

In Him,

Tim
